Approvals Is Now Called Sign-Off
We renamed board Approvals to Sign-Off so the app finally matches what we’ve always called it everywhere else. Nothing else changed.
You’ll see the new name in a few spots: the sidebar and the section on each item’s page now say “Sign-Off” instead of “Approvals,” the settings toggle is “Enable Sign-Off,” the button a reviewer clicks now says “Sign Off” instead of “Accept,” and a signed-off item shows a “Signed off” badge. The quorum rules read a little more naturally too — “Everyone must sign off” and “Any 3 sign-offs,” for example.
This is just a name change, not a new feature. Any review round already in progress, and any link you’ve already emailed to a reviewer, keeps working exactly the same. There’s nothing you need to do.
One thing that’s still exactly the same: budget approvals and the treasurer’s Approve/Reject on an expense report. Those are a different decision by a different person, and they still say “approve,” just like before.
