Bank Payments, Lower SnackBar Fees and a New Pricing Page

We made it cheaper for your supporters to give, and easier for you to explain exactly what things cost. Here’s what’s new.

Pay by bank account. At checkout, supporters can now pay directly from their bank account instead of a card, on donations and purchases of $250 or more. It costs supporters less than paying by card, so more of what they give lands in your program. Bank payments aren’t offered for ticket sales, A-Thon pledges, or payment plans, since those need the money right away or a scheduled follow-up charge, and a bank payment takes a few business days to clear rather than showing up instantly. You’ll see it on your Orders page as Pending until the payment finishes, then it settles just like anything else.

SnackBar just got cheaper. If you run concession stands, spirit wear tables, or other in-person sales with SnackBar, tap-to-pay purchases now cost less to process, so more of every sale stays with your school.

Skip offline payments for small orders. Offline payment, if enabled, are offered for orders over $100. This will help reduce the overhead on accepting and recording small payments.

A pricing page you can actually point people to. We built a brand new pricing page at futurefund.com/pricing that lays out, side by side, exactly what every payment method costs. Use it to plan a fundraiser, answer a board member’s question, or just see for yourself how much you save by pointing supporters toward bank payments or in-person sales.
