A tidier campaign form, plus friendlier pledge emails
A cleaner campaign form
Campaign setup used to throw every setting at you at once, even the ones you’d almost never touch. Now each tab (Options, Store, First Step, and External) keeps the settings you actually need up front, with the rest tucked behind an Advanced settings link at the bottom. Click it to open it up — and if something inside needs your attention, like a validation error, it opens itself automatically so you never miss it.
Who is this purchase for?
Picking how a purchase gets attributed used to mean digging through a plain dropdown. Now you’ll see clear cards: No one (just record the payment), A student (buyers pick which student it’s for), or A parent (buyers pick which parent or guardian). Each card explains what it does in plain language, so it’s easy to pick the right one for a field trip, a membership, or a general donation.
Personalized pledge emails
Pledge-a-thon participants send an email to friends and family asking for support — and now that email can address each person by name automatically. Just drop in {{ recipient }}, {{ participant }}, {{ fundraiser }}, {{ goal }}, or {{ donation_link }} anywhere in your campaign’s sample message, and FutureFund fills them in for every supporter email that goes out. We also shipped a warmer default message, translated into all 7 of our supported languages, so campaigns start off with better copy out of the box.
A few more touch-ups
External campaigns now have a Media tab so you can add a video or attachments just like other campaign types.
