Limit forms and campaigns to specific teachers

Ever needed a form, waiver, or fundraiser to reach only the families in one teacher’s classroom? Now you can. Anywhere you could already restrict a First Step item to certain grades, you can also restrict it to certain teachers.

Open a form under Forms & Waivers, or a campaign’s First Step tab, and you’ll see a new “All Teachers” / “Selected Teachers” choice next to the grade one. Pick “Selected Teachers” and check off the classrooms it applies to from the list. You can set grade and teacher limits together, too — restricting to grade 5 and to Mrs. Betty’s class reaches every grade 5 student plus every one of Mrs. Betty’s students, wherever they land.

This only shows up for schools that have turned on the “Ask Teacher” question in First Step settings and have teachers entered — if that’s not you, nothing changes. And a family that skipped the teacher question simply won’t see items limited to a specific teacher, so it’s worth reminding families to fill that field in if you plan to use this.
