Import your whole pledge campaign roster at once

Running a fun run, read-a-thon, or walk-a-thon? Open the campaign’s Participants tab and click Import to load your whole roster from a spreadsheet in one go, students, their leaderboard, and their parent, all at once.

Your columns just need the right headings, so it doesn’t matter what order they’re in. First Name, Last Name, and Parent Email are required. If your campaign has a leaderboard like Grade, Teacher, or something custom like Homeroom or Sport, add a column for it and FutureFund will place each student for you. There’s a sample file built specifically for your campaign, so if you have a Homeroom leaderboard, the sample already has a Homeroom column waiting for you.

Uploaded the same file again after fixing a few rows? No problem, it updates the students already in the campaign instead of creating duplicates. And every parent gets their welcome email the moment the import finishes, just like when you add a student by hand. If something in the file doesn’t match your campaign’s setup, like a grade or teacher that doesn’t exist, the import stops and tells you exactly which row to fix, so you never end up with a half-loaded roster.

While we were in there, we also opened the door for Excel files on every other import screen in FutureFund, members, volunteers, students, teachers, auction items, and service activities. If you’ve ever had to “Save As” a CSV before you could upload it, you can skip that step now.
