Mapped your campaigns late? Fix old payouts in one click

If you connected FutureFund and started collecting payouts before you sat down and mapped every campaign to the right account, you know the drill: a month goes by, and suddenly you’ve got a pile of deposits sitting in your catch-all income account instead of where they belong. Until now, the only fix was editing journal entries one at a time.

Head to Settings > FutureFund and you’ll see a new button next to Sync Now: Update payout campaign mapping. Click it, confirm, and BeeKeeper re-files every payout you’ve already recorded using your campaign mapping as it stands today — then pulls in anything new while it’s at it.

Your deposit amounts never change, and completed bank reconciliations are safe: this only touches which account a payout’s income is credited to, never the bank side of the transaction. Transactions in a closed fiscal year are left alone too, so nothing you’ve already locked down gets disturbed.

For example, say you connected FutureFund in June but didn’t finish mapping your campaigns until July. Every June payout landed in your catch-all account. One click on Update payout campaign mapping, and those payouts move to the right income accounts — no manual journal entries required.
