Schedule your emails and text messages ahead of time

Ever written the perfect reminder email at 10pm, but didn’t want it landing in parents’ inboxes overnight? Now you don’t have to choose between writing it now and sending it at the right time.

When you create an email (Admin > Messaging > Emails), you’ll see a new Schedule section with a “Send At” date and time picker. Pick when you want it delivered and click Schedule — that’s it. Your scheduled email shows a yellow “Scheduled” badge in your email list along with its send time, and you can keep editing it right up until it goes out. Changed your mind? Hit Cancel Schedule to send it back to draft.

Text messages work the same way. When you write a new text message blast (Admin > Messaging > Text Messages), there’s an optional Send At field. Leave it blank and it sends right away, just like before. Fill it in, and your message waits until that time to go out — you can edit or cancel it from the message’s page anytime before it sends.

Times are based on your organization’s own time zone, and scheduled messages go out automatically, usually within a minute of the time you picked.
