Your own school website, built right in (Beta)

Wish you had one friendly place to send families, without paying for or learning a separate website tool? Now you do. School Websites is open to every school on the Premium and Club editions, at no extra cost. Find it in your Admin under Website. It’s in beta, which means it’s ready to use and we’re still polishing it. Tell us what you’d like to see.

Build the menu families see

Open Website > Pages & Navigation to set up the menu down the side of every page. Drag items to reorder them, or drag one under a top-level page to tuck it in as a sub-item. Add your own pages, or links to a campaign, a form, another page, or any web address (you can have those open in a new tab). Built-in sections like Online Store, First Step, Events, News, Directory, Volunteers and Auctions can be renamed, moved, or hidden. The first time you open the page, we copy in your current menu, so nothing changes for families until you decide to change it. The top item is your home page, the place families land when they visit your school’s web address.

Create pages with drag and drop

Build a page by dragging in blocks, with 19 to pick from: Title, Text, Image, Button, Video, PDF, File download, Campaign, Form, Sponsor, Newsfeed, Hero, Call to Action, Two Columns, Block, Carousel, Horizontal Line, Event Calendar, and a Contact Form that emails the person you choose. Your work saves as you go. Preview it as a desktop, tablet, or phone, share a private preview link to get a second opinion, then hit Publish when you’re ready. You can even make a page members-only, with a Sign in button (and an optional Join button) for everyone else. Your pages live at yourschool.futurefund.com/your-page-name.

Share news with the Newsfeed

Under Website > Newsfeed, write news articles with the same page builder. Families see them at /news as friendly cards with a picture and the date, and a News link shows up in your menu as soon as you publish your first article. For example, a quick “Fun Run recap” with photos and a button to your next campaign takes just a few minutes.

One small change

The Website settings that used to live in Account Settings are gone. Your home page is now simply the top item in Pages & Navigation, and you show or hide Events right in the menu. Old bookmarks will take you to the right spot.

Try it out and tell us what’s working and what you wish it did. We read every note.
