Accept cash payments in SnackBar — no card fee

Cash box in one hand, phone in the other? SnackBar now takes cash, right next to Tap to Pay and your Bluetooth card reader. Turn it on from Settings → In-person payments in your FutureFund admin — it’s off until you flip it on, and once it’s on, “Cash” shows up as a payment option at checkout in the app.

Here’s the best part: cash sales skip the processing fee entirely. A $5.00 item comes to $5.45 by card, but it’s just $5.00 in cash — no fee eats into what you raised. The app’s checkout screen even spells it out: “Total due · no processing fee.”

When a seller picks Cash, they get a simple screen for typing what the buyer handed over, with quick buttons for the exact amount or the next $5, $10, or $20 bill, and it shows the change due right away. No card is touched and nothing goes through Stripe — the sale is just marked paid.

Cash sales show up in Order History and order detail just like any other sale, with the cash total instead of a card total (no card brand or last four digits, since there’s no card). Sellers can still text or email a receipt afterward, and as always, there are no refunds inside the app.
