Run your SnackBar register on an iPad
Prop an iPad in a stand at your busiest window and SnackBar turns into a proper register. The whole screen goes to work: your campaigns on one side, the order you’re building on the other, and a running total that you and the family in front of you can both read the entire time.
On a phone, the cart lives behind a panel you pull up and push back down. On an iPad it never leaves the screen — add a hot dog, add a drink, and the total updates right there in the open. When it’s time to collect, the charge window floats over the order instead of covering it, so you can still see what you rang up while the buyer digs out a card. Order history works the same way: tap a sale on the left and the details open on the right, without losing your place in the list.
One thing to know before you set an iPad out on the table: Tap to Pay doesn’t work on iPad. That’s Apple’s rule, not ours — only iPhones have the hardware for it. To take cards on an iPad you’ll need a Stripe Bluetooth card reader, which pairs the same way it does on a phone. Cash works exactly as it always has.
Turn the iPad sideways for the full register, or hold it upright and the order tucks along the bottom instead. It’s the same free app in the App Store, so there’s nothing new to buy, and nothing changes in your admin — same campaigns, same access code, same order history.
