Hand volunteers a printable SnackBar setup sheet

Getting a new volunteer ready to run your register used to mean standing next to them while they downloaded the app, typed in your access code, and clicked through a few phone permissions. Now you can skip that. There’s a printable setup sheet you can hand off instead.

Find it in the Admin under In-Person Payments, right below your SnackBar access code: a Download the guide button. It makes a one-page PDF, ready to print and hand to a volunteer, with everything they need: a QR code to download the app for iPhone or Android, your school’s access code printed large so it’s easy to read, and the three phone permissions SnackBar asks for (Bluetooth, Location Services, and Tap to Pay on iPhone), along with a plain-language note on why each one matters.

Print a stack before your next event and keep them with the phones. A new volunteer can go from “never opened SnackBar before” to “ready to take a payment” without ever needing to track you down.

The download shows up once your school has SnackBar turned on. If you don’t see it, turn on In-Person Payments first from the same page.
