We'll flag it fast if Stripe needs more from your organization
Every once in a while, Stripe (the company that processes your organization’s payments) asks for something extra before it will keep sending you money — maybe your organization’s tax ID doesn’t quite match what’s on file with the IRS, a form is missing a detail, or a payout couldn’t go through. Until now, that could happen quietly, and you might not notice until a payout didn’t show up.
Not anymore. As soon as we spot that Stripe has put a hold on one of your organizations, we’ll email your account owner right away, in plain English, explaining exactly what’s needed — no confusing Stripe jargon. The email includes a secure button that takes you straight to the Stripe form to fix it, and you can just hit reply if you have questions — it goes straight to our support team. If it’s still unresolved after a week, we’ll send a friendly reminder, and you’ll get a confirmation email the moment it’s cleared up.
You’ll also see it the moment you log in: a banner appears on your Admin dashboard and on the affected organization’s page, showing what Stripe needs and a button to take care of it. Organizations that need attention also get an “Action Needed” badge on your Organizations list, so nothing slips through the cracks.
This is all about keeping your fundraising money moving — the sooner you know something needs a quick fix, the sooner your payouts stay on schedule.
