Get a heads-up before vendor documents expire

Keeping vendor paperwork current is one of those jobs that’s easy to lose track of — right up until you discover a contractor’s insurance certificate quietly lapsed three months ago. Now BeeKeeper keeps track for you.

If a vendor document that carries an expiration date — a certificate of insurance, workers’ comp certificate, contract, additional insured, or hold harmless agreement — has expired or is expiring in the next 30 days, you’ll see it called out in two places: a new section in your Monday Weekly To-Do email, and a “Vendor documents” row on your dashboard’s Needs Attention card (something like “Vendor documents — 2 need renewal”). Either one takes you straight to the vendors that need fresh paperwork.

Documents that don’t expire are left alone. A W-9 stays valid until the vendor’s information changes, so it never has an expiration date and never turns up in these reminders — BeeKeeper only reminds you about documents you’ve actually given an expiration date to.

Not ready to deal with it today? You can dismiss the dashboard row and it’ll get out of your way. It’ll come right back, though, if that document is still outstanding later or a new one enters the 30-day window — so you won’t lose track of it for good.
