Bylaws (and Other Yearly Documents) Can Now Start Pre-Filled

Retyping your bylaws answers every single year, even though almost nothing changed, is nobody’s favorite task. Good news: FutureFund Connect can now start a new document task with the answers you already gave.

If your state PTA turns on this option for a document like bylaws, the next time your unit, council, or district starts that task, the form opens already filled in with the answers from your organization’s own most recently approved submission — including any files you attached. You just look it over, update whatever’s changed (a new dues amount, a new membership count, and so on), and submit. Only an approved submission is ever used this way — one that’s still pending, in review, or was rejected is never pulled from, so you’re always starting from something a reviewer already signed off on.

This is a setting your state PTA controls per document, found on the Document Generator’s setup page under Start from the previous submission. It’s off by default, so nothing changes unless your state decides to turn it on for a particular document.
