Finding Your Way Around HelpOut Just Got Easier

If you run events in HelpOut, getting where you’re going just got a lot easier. Instead of digging through one crowded dropdown for everything, you’ll now see a sidebar down the left side of the screen with Events and Address Book always in view. Your profile, your API key, and Sign Out live under Account, tucked at the bottom so it’s there when you need it and out of the way when you don’t.

The sidebar stays put while you work. Open an event to check your Entries or send a Message, and the tabs for that event show up right below the sidebar — with Events still highlighted, so you always know how to get back to your full list. Up in the top right, you’ll still find the bell that tells you what’s new, plus a Need Help button that opens our support site in a new tab the moment you get stuck.

On a phone, the sidebar tucks behind a menu icon so it never crowds your screen — tap it whenever you want it back. On a bigger screen, you can collapse it down to just the icons if you’d rather have more room to work.

One note: this new look is just for the people running the event. If someone is only RSVPing, bringing an item, claiming a time slot, or contributing to a gift, their page hasn’t changed a bit.
