New Viewer Access Level for Your Team
Sometimes you want someone to be able to see what’s going on — a new board member getting oriented, an advisor, or a parent who just wants visibility — without giving them the ability to edit or delete anything. Now you can. When you invite someone to your Team, you can choose an access level: Member (the same full access everyone has had until now) or Viewer (look, but don’t touch).
Viewers can browse tasks, documents, reports, board rosters, and messages just like anyone else, but they won’t see edit, delete, or create buttons, and any attempt to submit a form is blocked. Personal touches like starring favorites or following a task for updates still work fine for Viewers — it’s just changes to your organization’s records that are off-limits.
To set someone’s access level, head to your Team page, invite a new person or edit an existing one, and pick Viewer or Member from the access level field.
