How Sign-In Works
HelpOut uses your FutureFund account. It’s the same sign-in that works for FutureFund, BeeKeeper, and Connect — one email address and password across all of them.
Go to helpout.us and click Sign In. You’ll be sent to the FutureFund account page to sign in, then returned to HelpOut.
The people you invite to your events never sign in. They open your link, respond, and that’s it.
Your Profile
Click Account at the bottom of the left sidebar, then choose Profile. Two settings live here:
| Setting | What it affects |
|---|---|
| Language | The language HelpOut is shown to you in. English and Spanish are supported. |
| Time Zone | The time zone every date on your events is displayed in. |
Click Update Profile to save.
Time Zone
Your time zone matters more than it looks. It sets:
- How event dates and times appear on your event pages
- The time on calendar invitations sent to your guests
- When scheduled messages go out
Name, Email, and Password
Your name, email address, and password aren’t edited in HelpOut — they belong to your FutureFund account. Click Manage Your Account on the Profile page to change them, or go to accounts.futurefund.com.
Changes there flow through to HelpOut automatically.
2-Step Verification
2-step verification is managed on your FutureFund account, not in HelpOut. Turning it on there protects your sign-in everywhere, HelpOut included. We recommend it for anyone managing events for a school group.
Your Team
Events and address books belong to your organization, not to you personally, so anyone on your team can see and manage everything in it. See Team and Organizations for how to invite people, remove them, and rename your organization.
Who Can See Your Events
Event pages are public to anyone with the link, so people can respond without an account. They aren’t listed in search engines, but treat the link as shareable — anyone it’s forwarded to can open it.
Only you and your teammates can see an event’s Entries, Messages, and Share tabs, or edit and delete the event. A signed-in HelpOut user who isn’t on your team sees only the public event page when they open your link.
Contributor payment details are handled by our payment processor. HelpOut never stores card numbers.
Closing Your Account
To close your HelpOut account, email support@futurefund.com from the address you sign in with.
If you’re the only person on your team, closing your account removes your events, their responses and contributions, your messages, and your address books permanently — this can’t be undone, and event links stop working for everyone you shared them with. Download anything you want to keep from the Entries tab first.
If you have teammates, your events and address books stay with them — someone else on the team simply becomes the event’s organizer going forward. Only your own sign-in goes away.
If you only want to clear out old events, you can delete them individually instead — open the event, click Edit, then Delete.
