Product Updates
Keeping up with what’s new
FutureFund Connect is always growing, and we want you to be the first to know when something new arrives. You don’t have to go looking for announcements — Connect tells you whenever there’s something new to see.
Finding Product Updates
- Sign in to FutureFund Connect.
- Look at the top right of the page, next to the Need Help? button.
- Click the bell icon (its tooltip reads What’s new).
A panel titled What’s New opens right below the bell.
The bell appears on larger screens. On a phone or a narrow window it’s hidden to save room — open Connect on a computer or tablet, or visit the full updates page at support.futurefund.com/updates.
The unread badge
When there are announcements you haven’t seen yet, a small yellow number appears on the bell. That number tells you how many new updates are waiting (it shows 9+ if there are more than nine).
Opening the panel marks everything as seen, so the badge disappears. An empty bell simply means you’re caught up.
Because we remember what you’ve seen with a cookie shared across FutureFund products, reading an update in one product keeps it from re-badging you elsewhere. Clearing your browser cookies resets the count.
What you’ll see in the panel
- The newest update, featured at the top, with a New tag, its title, a short teaser, a Read more link, and how long ago it was published.
- Older updates listed underneath, each with its title and publish date.
- See all updates at the bottom, which opens the full Product Updates page on our support site.
Clicking any update opens the full announcement in a new browser tab, so you don’t lose your place in Connect.
Press Esc or click anywhere outside the panel to close it.
When there’s nothing new
If we haven’t posted anything yet, the panel shows a friendly note: You’re all caught up! Check back soon. There’s nothing you need to do — the next release will show up here automatically and the bell will let you know.
The full Product Updates page
See all updates takes you to support.futurefund.com/updates, where every announcement is listed with the newest first. Each one includes:
- The date it was released
- A short, friendly title
- A description of what’s new and how it helps you
- A picture, when one is available
Some features are built for a specific kind of PTA. When that’s the case, the announcement shows a label reading Applies to the following organizations: followed by one or more tags — State Associations, Districts, Councils, or Units — so you can quickly tell whether a new feature is meant for your level of the PTA.
A quick tip
Glance at the bell now and then, especially when you see a badge on it. New features are designed to make managing your PTA easier, and a quick read keeps you in the loop without any stress.
