Getting Help

Learn how to get help with FutureFund Connect through your PTA support network

How Support Works in FutureFund Connect

FutureFund Connect is built around the PTA organizational hierarchy, and support follows the same structure. Each level of your PTA organization is best equipped to help the level directly below it because they understand your local processes, permissions, and requirements.

Unit PTAs

If you are a unit PTA member or administrator, your first point of contact for help is your council. Your council works closely with your units and understands the specific requirements, deadlines, and processes for your area. They can help with questions about tasks, document submissions, board member management, and more.

Councils

If you are a council administrator and need assistance beyond what you can resolve locally, please reach out to your district. Your district oversees multiple councils and can help with broader policy questions, permission issues, and coordination across councils.

Districts

If you are a district administrator and need help with something that cannot be resolved at the district level, please contact your state PTA. Your state PTA manages the overall platform configuration, including triggers, document templates, positions, and file generators.

State PTAs

If you are a state PTA administrator and encounter a technical issue that cannot be resolved within your organization, you may escalate to the FutureFund support team by emailing support@futurefund.com.

When contacting FutureFund support, please include:

  • Your state PTA name
  • A description of the issue and what you expected to happen
  • The page URL where the issue occurred
  • Any relevant screenshots or attachments

Finding Help Inside Connect

  • The Need Help? button in the top right of any page opens this help center.
  • The Account menu at the bottom of the left sidebar has a Support link to the same place, plus API Documentation for developers.
  • The bell icon next to Need Help? shows what’s new — see Product Updates.

A Few Things Only FutureFund Can Do

Most things are handled inside your PTA hierarchy, but a handful of actions are ours:

  • Unblocking an email address. If someone on your Team shows a red Blocked badge, we couldn’t deliver mail to that address. Only FutureFund can clear the block and resend the invitation.
  • Changing a payout bank account. Once payouts are set up, bank details are changed through a one-time secure link that FutureFund issues after verifying you’re authorized. See Receiving Payouts.
  • Editing a locked past term. Rosters from earlier fiscal years are locked to protect your history. Genuine historical corrections can still be made at the state level or by FutureFund.

Important Note About Access and Permissions

FutureFund provides the technology platform, but your PTA organization manages all user access and permissions. FutureFund is not able to grant permissions, add team members, or provide access to any entity within FutureFund Connect. Only administrators at the appropriate level of your PTA hierarchy can manage access for the entities they oversee.

If you need access to FutureFund Connect or a specific entity, please contact your unit, council, district, or state PTA administrator directly.

You may come across a Request access page on our website. That form is for state PTA leaders who want to bring FutureFund Connect to their state association — it is not a way to get a login for an organization that already uses Connect. If your state is already on Connect and you need access, ask an administrator in your own hierarchy.

Why Tiered Support Works Best

Each level of your PTA organization has the context and authority to help most effectively:

  • Councils understand local unit requirements and deadlines
  • Districts can coordinate across councils and resolve regional questions
  • State PTAs control platform configuration and have full visibility across the system
  • FutureFund can address technical issues and platform bugs

This approach ensures you get help from someone who understands your situation and has the authority to take action.
