Memberships
Memberships are sold as campaigns in the store and during registration.

Membership Types

Memberships are a great way to sell PTA, PTSA, PTO, and Booster Club memberships. FutureFund supports:

  • Messaging members

Memberships can help you raise funds for your school as well as get individuals more involved. Use FutureFund to sell and manage Parent, Student, Family, Staff, and General memberships. Set different prices for membership levels and keep track of all your members in one place.

Types

The membership type dictates how the membership is displayed during the purchase process. There are five types of memberships:

  1. Family: memberships are created for each parent, only one family membership can be sold during registration. One family membership sale will result in multiple memberships. Family memberships should not be sold in the store.
  2. Parent: During registration, each parent will have the option to purchase a membership. Each purchase will result in a charge. When added to the store, the membership will not be linked to a registration section the purchaser will need to enter the name and email of the member.
  3. Student: During registration, each student will have the option to purchase a membership. Each purchase will result in a charge. When added to the store, the membership will not be linked to a registration section the purchaser will need to enter the name and email of the member.
  4. Parent + Student: During registration, each parent and student will have the option to purchase a membership. Each purchase will result in a charge. When added to the store, the membership will not be linked to a registration section the purchaser will need to enter the name and email of the member.
  5. Individual: These memberships are typically sold to people who are not registering. The name and email of the member will be requested during the purchase.

The type of membership is not displayed to the purchaser. The name of the campaign is used to designate the membership.

Notes

  • With the exception of the Family membership, the purchaser will be charged for each person they are buying a membership.
  • Memberships last for the duration of the school session and do not auto-renew.
  • Memberships are created once an order is paid. If the purchaser decided to pay by cash or check (offline), they will not have an entry in the membership database until the order is marked as paid.
