Building a Campaign
Every campaign starts the same way, no matter which type you’re building.
The Campaign Builder
- In the Admin, open the menu that matches what you’re doing: Campaigns > Fundraisers, Memberships, Ticketing, or Products.
- Click the Build Campaign button.
- Work through the steps below.
Each menu only offers the campaign types that belong to it, so you see a short, relevant list instead of everything at once. See Campaign Types for the full map.
Step 1: What kind of campaign?
Pick a type from the cards. Each card has a short description of what it’s for. Clicking a card moves you straight to the next step.
The campaign type cannot be changed after the campaign is created, so it’s worth a moment here.
Step 2: Which organization?
Choose the organization that should receive the money. This is the bank account the sales are deposited into, and like the type, it can’t be changed later.
Managing an Existing Campaign
From an open campaign you can:
- Edit: change any of the settings above.
- Preview: see how the campaign looks to families, on desktop and mobile.
- View in Store: open the live campaign page.
- Campaign Report: see the detail report for this campaign.
- Duplicate: copy the campaign, useful when running something similar next term.
- Delete: remove it. Deleted campaigns can be restored.
Taking a Campaign Down
You usually don’t want to delete a campaign that has sales. Instead, open the Availability tab and check Mark campaign as not available for sale. Families still find the page instead of hitting a dead link, and they see that the offer has ended. You can also set an Availability Start and Availability End so the campaign opens and closes on its own.
