Sign Up Campaign

The Sign Up campaign registers families for clubs, classes, and programs. A clearer alternative to a product priced at zero dollars, with support for waitlists, early-bird pricing, and sibling discounts.

Use a Sign Up campaign to register families for clubs, classes, and programs. It works whether the program is free or paid, and it’s a much clearer alternative to a Purchase campaign priced at zero dollars, since the purpose is obvious to the parent.

Building One

  1. In the Admin, navigate to Campaigns > Products.
  2. Click the Build Campaign button.
  3. Choose Sign Up.
  4. Pick the organization, then fill in the details.

Options

When creating the campaign, the following options are specified:

Option Required Description
Name Yes The name of the campaign
Description No A rich text description of the campaign.
Campaign Type Yes Must be set to Sign Up. This cannot be changed once the campaign is created.
Organization Yes The organization to associate with purchases from campaign. This cannot be changed once the campaign is created.

Sign Up campaigns also show a “Who is this purchase for?” picker, and default to A student when first created. See Attribution.

Capacity and Waitlists

Sign Up campaigns can limit how many families can register, using the same inventory settings as Purchase campaigns. See Inventory.

If you turn on the waitlist option, a Waitlist tab appears on the campaign so you can see who’s waiting once capacity is reached.

Promotions and Discounts

Two discounts are available under Promotions and Discounts on the Options tab:

  • Sibling discount: a lower price when more than one person signs up on the same order.
  • Early bird discount: a lower price when the sign up happens before a deadline you set. This requires an early bird deadline.

Advanced Options

The following advanced campaign options are available for Sign Up campaigns:

  • Inventory / Capacity
  • Waitlist

  • Sibling and Early Bird discounts

  • Sell in Online Store
