Campaign Types

Campaigns are how you collect money in FutureFund. Find the right campaign type under Fundraisers, Memberships, Ticketing, or Products.

A campaign is how you collect money in FutureFund. Yearbooks, spirit wear, PTA memberships, dance tickets, donations — each one is a campaign. Every campaign belongs to a single organization, so sales go to that organization’s bank account.

In the Admin, campaigns live under the Campaigns heading in the left sidebar, grouped by what you’re trying to do:

Menu Use it for Campaign types
Fundraisers Asking people to give Donation Drive, Pledge, Auction
Memberships Selling PTA, PTO, ASB, and booster club memberships Membership, Tiered Membership
Ticketing Events with ticketed entry Ticket
Products Selling items and registering families Purchase, Sign Up, Shop, Bundle, External

Pick the menu that matches your goal, then click Build Campaign. See Building a Campaign for a walkthrough.

Fundraisers

  • Donation Drive: Ask supporters to give directly, no event required. Set a goal and boost donations with corporate matching, installments, and donor walls.
  • Pledge: For Fun Runs, Read-A-Thons, and Jog-A-Thons, where students sign up and friends and family donate to cheer them on. Includes participant dashboards, leaderboards, and incentives.
  • Auction: Run an online auction with bidding, watchlists, and self-checkout.

Memberships

  • Membership: One membership, one price. Sell PTA, PTSA, PTO, and booster club memberships to parents, students, and community members. Works for ASB memberships too.
  • Tiered Membership: Offer levels at different prices, like Gold, Silver, and Bronze, each with its own perks.

Ticketing

  • Ticket: Sell, distribute, and redeem tickets for events with dates, ticket types, seating sections, and season passes.

Products

  • Purchase: Sell one item with options like size and color. Great for spirit wear, PE clothes, and yearbooks, and for collecting money for fees such as lab fees.
  • Sign Up: Register families for clubs, classes, and programs. Supports waitlists, early-bird pricing, and sibling discounts. A clearer alternative to a product priced at zero dollars.
  • Shop: A single page that collects several campaigns in one place for families to browse and buy individually.
  • Bundle: Combine several campaigns into one package at a single price, like a membership plus a t-shirt plus a donation.
  • External: Link to an outside website for yearbooks, cafeteria funds, or anything else not in FutureFund, so families can find all your programs in one place.

Renamed Campaign Types

A few campaign types have been renamed. Only the names changed. Existing campaigns, their settings, reports, and payouts all work exactly as before.

Previous name Current name
Fundraiser Donation Drive
Multi-Level Membership (Gold/Silver/Bronze) Tiered Membership
PTA/PTO/PFC Membership Membership
Pledge-A-Thon Pledge

For a while, the campaign builder shows Donation Drive (formerly Fundraiser) so the type is easy to find.
