Sales by Channel
See how much of a campaign's sales came from First Step, your online store, SnackBar, or orders you entered by hand, right on the campaign's Overview page.
What It Shows
Sales by Channel breaks a campaign’s sales down by how each order reached your school: First Step registration, your online Store, SnackBar, or an order an admin keyed in by hand. It’s built from the exact same sales data as the Sales (or Donations) number at the top of the page, so the channels always add up to that total. There’s nothing to reconcile between the two.
Accessing
- In the Admin, navigate to the appropriate item under Campaigns (Fundraisers, Memberships, Ticketing, or Products).
- Click the View button for the campaign.
- Scroll to the bottom of the Overview tab.
External campaigns don’t take payment through FutureFund, so they don’t show this table.
Channels
| Channel | What lands here |
|---|---|
| First Step | Sales collected while a family completed First Step registration. |
| Store | Sales made through your online store. |
| Manual (Admin) | Orders an admin built by hand from the Orders page, including cash or check payments recorded there. |
| SnackBar - Online Sales | SnackBar sales taken with a card reader. |
| SnackBar - Cash Sales | SnackBar sales taken as cash. |
| SnackBar Total | A subtotal of the two SnackBar rows above it. Only shows up once a campaign has taken money both ways. |
| Other | A small, older category of orders that predate channel tracking. Included so the table still adds up to the campaign’s Sales figure. |
Each row shows the number of Orders, Units, and Sales, along with what percentage of the campaign’s total sales that channel is responsible for.
Filtering by Date
Click the Order Date pill above the table to switch from all-time to a specific window, using a preset like Today, This Month, This Year, or Last Month, or by entering a custom range.
This filter only applies to the Sales by Channel table. The metrics and other tables on the Overview page stay all-time.
Notes
- Amounts shown are what was sold, not what’s been collected. A campaign with unpaid installments or an outstanding check will still show the full sale amount here.
- “Sales by Campaign” headings were also added above the units-sold table on product campaigns and the packed-campaign table on shop campaigns, so it’s clear what those tables are showing.
